Get Healthy

PREFACE

"A man is never converted until he is convinced and he is never convinced until she tries. It's sad to know that as a rule, he never tries unless the disease threats him and even then he takes all kinds medicines and fake medicines and when all these fails, if he still have some common sense and vitality, perhaps he obeys the natural laws of: dieting (which makes the blood), movement (an appropriate distribution of blood), breathing (the process of purifying the blood), sleep (the process of renewing energy) and the daily bath (the cleaning of outside) and then he recovers his health, as I did. "

The healthy Natural Way

I have always been adept at finding simple solutions to complicated problems. I like to take a look beyond the obvious and seek innovative options.
The healthier way of living is also the most natural and enjoyable. Maintaning good of health should not be hard work and take extreme effort. All you need is to set aside the bad habits. If you do this thinking in health and health only, this is what you will get.
This book is not a philosophical treatise, but talks about principles used by me and thousands of people with proven efficacy. I just state what works, with no longer explanations. There are two essential elements for recovering and maintaining health: the first is faith and the second application of faith. The subject addressed in the first three chapters of this book is faith. The rest of the book covers simple and practical principles to recover and keep your health.

Faith

Faith starts with a belief, but what should you believe to be healthy? You must believe that there is more healing and health power in you and in your environment than there is the power that causes disease.

When a person thinks about health and performs these external functions in a healthy way, he will be healthy. He will have no need to take medicines with a variety of side effects.Everybody knows the placebo effect. Science confirms that healing depends more on what the patient thinks about medicine than the medicine itself. The human mind is the greater healing factor than medication.People with similar diseases have been cured by different systems and medicines. Allopathy and homeopathy are opposites, but there are people healed in both systems. It doesn’t depend on your job (except those who work in unhealthy conditions).

There are healthy people in all kinds of occupations. Your well-being depends on thinking and acting the right way and make this way of thinking habitual.Act out your thoughts. As the Apostle Paul said:

"Faith without works are dead"

The natural Laws of health include two fields: thought and action.

To be health you need to think and act out your thought through real actions and words.

Think Healthy

The first step to obey the natural laws of health is to think about health. A good way to do this is to form a mental image of yourself as a strong healthy and person. Spends enough time on this image until it becomes a habitual thought.

Some people can not form this mental image. It may not be as easy as it seems. Fortunately nowadays you can change your photos as you wish: no black and purple circles around eyes, fatter, thinner and so on and put it in a prominent location.

It is not essential to have this mental image, but it can be a good starting point. What it is essential is to form a conception of health and apply it to yourself. The concept of health is an understanding of how a healthy person acts. Spend your free time thinking about what the healthy way is. Once you have a good concept of it, always think of yourself this way.

Think of yourself walking down the street with a straight posture, doing your daily tasks with vigor and energy.

The transformation of your physical body in your ideal image is not instant. It is a process, like the physical development of a person.

Surround yourself as much as possible with people that seem to be healthy and strong.

Watch your words. Never complain: "I did not sleep last night,"or “I have a pain in my stomach”. Instead, say: "I hope sleep well tonight", “I notice that I'm better" or something similar. Do not listen to complaints from others about their health. Do what you can to give them relief and help them improve their thinking. Do not let people list their symptoms to you. Change the subject or apologize and go away. It is better to be considered insensitive than be forced to think about illness. If it is not possible, ignore what they say. Say a prayer of gratitude for your mental health.

The pain is caused by your body’s effort to heal or overcome a situation.
And what do you do when you feel pain? Can someone with a real physical pain ever think about good health? Yes. Pain is a warning sign. When you feel pain, think of it as a healing process going on in the affected area and cooperate with it.Do not hesitate to use bandages, massage, plasters, medicianal teas or similar methods to help the work that is already going on. It is a time to exercise gratitude and faith. Be grateful for the power of health that is causing the pain. Be certain that the pain will go away once the work is completed. You'll be surprised how you will overcome the pain.

And when you feel weak? During a deep cleaning of your house the mess looks even worse than before. The same happens with your body you feel pain and fatigue while your body is trying to clean and fix itself.

Relax and be grateful for the process of recovering well and know that your strength is on the way. While weak, do not think the weakness but the strength that is on the way, ie, the clean house.
You can use the same methods you used for pain.

Use your Brain.

Watching TV demands less from your brain than sleep (during sleep you fix what you have learned during the day). That’s why it is so relaxing, but TV should be used with caution so as not to deteriorate the mind.

Be curious! Your brain works seven times more than usual when you are learning something new. It is necessary for everyone to always be learning something new, in order to maintain good mental health. Go to different places, make new routes, practice new sports, learn new manual skills or even do memory exercises.
Read, do calculations, learn a musical instrument, learn a new language and so on.
Be sure to find something that interests you. Use your old and new skills to help others. This will increase your personal satisfaction and place your problems in proper perspective.Keep your mind and your body in shape.

A Healthy Attitude

One of the main reasons of illness is stress. Stress can not be avoided, since we all have problems and challenges, but it can be dramatically minimized through your attitude.Never act as if you are a victim. Always look on the bright side of life. I believe wholeheartedly that God does not give you problems without a means of overcoming them somehow.I do believe in the wise words of the Prayer of Serenity:

God grant me Serenity to accept the things I can not change.

Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference.

Living one day at a time,

Enjoying one moment at a time.

Accepting that the difficulties are a path to peace.

Accepting, as He accepted, this world as it is.

Trusting that He settles everything,

As long as I surrender to His will.

So I can be happy in this life,

And supremely happy in the afterlife.

Remember these words. Live by the precepts of the Prayer of Serenity in your day-to-day life so you have peace in your life and overcome your problems.Do not try to change anyone but yourself. Do not try to change the world. The effort expended on it is huge and rarely fruitful. It only destroys your health and relationships. Do not worry about things that are beyond your control. Control just yourself.
Don’t be in a hurry. Hurry causes stress and besides, it can kill you.Accept that you can build your character with adversities of life and learn from your mistakes.

Learn from each experience. Always have a goal and a purpose for your life. If you do not have dreams and plans for your life and specifically, for when you retire, it does not mean rest, but death.

For many people retirement is just the beginning of a slow death.Have your dreams and goals then strive to reach them.

Breath Healthy

Food restores the tissues. Breathing produces energy. Food is the parts of a car. Breathing is the fuel.Breathing is an act that can be both voluntary and involuntary. We cannot spend more than a few minutes without breathing, such is the importance of breathing to your body. A marathon runner can go a long distance, but if the same runner wears something that restricts his lung or stomach, he, for sure, will not finish the race. The difference is in the lung capacity. Something you can and must do constantly is keep yourself upright with your shoulders backwards. The tendency to put your shoulders forward, curve the spine and the chest inside, make proper breathing impossible and therby making good health impossible.

Breathe deep and slowly with your shoulders back, filling first the "stomach" (i.e. the base of the lung) and then the chest. You don’t need a specific time to do that. Do it throughout the day, whenever you remember, until it becomes a habit for you. Breathing like a baby sleeping is the ideal. Most people often use only one third of their lungs and has one third of the energy that they could have. The mountain air is very different from valley air. The air should also be clean. If you live in a big city, consider an air purifier. A HEPA system is the best one, or if you can, move to another location: your body will thank you.

Drink Healthy

Drink water and only water. When? When you're thirsty. How much? For those with a normal sense of thirst (which is rare nowadays) I advise not eat or drinking once a month in order to give some rest for the whole body. Chose a calm day to do that.

Products containing alcohol or caffeine (tea, sodas, chocolate, coffee and alcohol), dehydrates the body. You end up eliminating more liquid through your urine that you ingested. These products also inhibit your thirst. You may be dehydrated without knowing it. When your body doesn’t have enough water it begins to dole out the water supply to various organs and they begin to show symptoms of disease that you will never associate with lack of water. Your urine should be clear or colorless. The darker the urine, the more dehydrated you are.

Drink fresh water, but not cold, because it stops your digestion as well as hot beverages. Drink clean water in the mornings: it prepares the stomach for proper digestion later. Highly damaging addictions such as: alcohol, sugar, chocolate, sodas with caffeine, coffee, tobacco and drugs are much more easily overcome if you drink the right amount of water daily.

Every time you feel like craving for one of these things drink plenty of water instead. Water is food. It also helps in the circulation of the lymphatic system, detoxifies and energizes. Water is a laxative and diuretic, increases the efficiency of red blood cells, lubricates joints, refreshes body, it gives power to brain functions, increases attention, increases absorption of essential substances in food, it is a solvent for vitamins and minerals, it helps reduce stress, anxiety and depression, it helps restore the normal rhythms of sleep, eliminate toxins from the body, prevents blockages in the vessels and arteries, among other things. As you know, 70% of the human body is made of water and most of this water is in the lymphatic system
.
Drink water every day.

A healthy way to lose weight and keep yourself healthy is to drink two cups of water a half hour before and after each meal. You will lose weight safely and consistently. Certainly it is not something drastic like losing half of your body weight in a week, but if you keep this habit permanently, in a few months you will be delighted with your vitality and new appearance. This will help you to distinguish the thirst sensation from thaof hunger, that can be mistaken because they are perceived in the same area (mouth and throat), drink is in second in importance for the body, in other words, it is even more important than food.
